A farewell to 2022

It's been far too long since one of these updates ... and that is completely my (Mike's) fault for being a very hesitant blog writer. So I just wanted to write a quick summary of our last year ... and to mention our final gig of 2022.

The upcoming gig first! We're very much looking forward to heading back to the Coniston Institute in Cumbria. The run a great night up there and we absolutely loved our gig there a few years ago ... for all the info and tickets, head over to this link.

Like many bands over the last year, we've kept it pretty low key after the pandemic. Touring is tough right now with lower turnouts, higher expenses and venues closing down every day (please go see a band near you if you want to keep music live!) But, we did have a small number of really high quality gigs in the past year and we'd like to say a hug thankyou to the great festivals we played at this year: Holmfirth, Magpies, Didmarton, Crossover & TradFest. They are all amazingly well run festivals with great line ups each year, so check them out if you can!

So, with this short blog I will leave you with a promise that we will be back in 2023; new music, more gigs and probably more blogs, but no promises on the last one.

See you at a gig somewhere!

Mike
