Successful Spring, Busy Summer, Quiet(ish) Winter

Happy Summer everyone! Or at least, that's what season it's supposed to be. Up until now, here in Chester, it's rained since Christmas. That hasn't stopped us though and we're here with a little update on what we've been up to and where we're heading next.

It's been almost 9 months since we released 'Time to Save the World' and embarked on a rather large album launch tour spanning November right up until now and carrying on for a while yet. We've had some great fun so far, especially with our Spring tour and the sell out home-town gig at Chester's Storyhouse and more recently, we have been here there and everywhere playing some great festivals. Since our last blog, we made the short trip over to the Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival and have recently just spent the weekend at the wonderful La Roche Bluegrass festival in the French Alps (both considerably sunnier and hotter than anything we've had over here) with many of smaller festivals & gigs in between...

Looking ahead to the rest of this year, we have 2 festivals left: Didmarton Bluegrass Festival (always a favourite of ours) at the end of August and the Leek Americana & Blues Festival in October, a new one for us. Following that, we have a small tour in November, but nothing of the size of the Album Launch tours from the last year. As you get further and further away from your album release, thoughts inevitably start to turn to the next project on the horizon and we are working on a few things that will be revealed in due course.

For now, we'll hopefully see you at Didmarton or on the short November tour later this year.

Mike, Jay & Lucy
